The Team

Built by people who sweat the details.

GNOSIS Ethical Intelligence is a small team in Newfoundland and Labrador, building the record that answers for the moments human judgment carries real risk.

Founder

Kaley

Kaley

The Trust Architect

Founder and CEO

Kaley is the founder of GNOSIS Ethical Intelligence. She holds a Master of Counselling Psychology and was clinically trained in inpatient psychiatry and ethics, then worked across employee assistance programs, private practice, and conflict mediation, sitting with people and institutions in their hardest weeks.

She built GNOSIS because she watched the right decision disappear the moment it was made, over and over, inside the rooms that later had to answer for it. GNOSIS is the record that refuses to let that happen.

  • Master of Counselling Psychology
  • Clinically trained in inpatient psychiatry and ethics
  • Employee assistance programs and private practice
  • Conflict mediation
  • Building from Newfoundland and Labrador

Engineering

Madiha

Madiha

Software Engineer, Product and Cloud Systems

madiha@gnosisethical.com

Madiha is a software engineer working across the surfaces people actually use: the front end and the services behind it, turning the messy reality of a frontline workflow into something clear on screen. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland, where she is completing a Master of Technology Management, and came to GNOSIS from software engineering at the National Research Council of Canada.

  • Front end and service engineering: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
  • Software engineering at the National Research Council of Canada
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering, Memorial University of Newfoundland
  • Master of Technology Management in progress, Memorial University of Newfoundland
Sumaiya

Sumaiya

Data and Quality Engineer

sumaiya@gnosisethical.com

Sumaiya is a quality engineer whose expertise is data integrity: the testing and validation that make sure what GNOSIS captures is accurate and holds up under review. Her background is data quality engineering and dataset curation for machine learning systems, where getting the details right is the whole job. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering and is completing a Master of Science in Data Science at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

  • Testing, validation and dataset curation for machine learning systems
  • Data quality and document accuracy engineering at Siftmed
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering, United International University
  • Master of Science in Data Science in progress, Memorial University of Newfoundland

Communications

Briagh

Briagh

The Narrative Architect

Communications and Public Relations

Briagh is a communications and public relations specialist whose instinct is sociological. She reads how people and institutions actually behave, not how they say they behave, and finds the language and the images that land with them. She is completing a Bachelor of Public Relations at Mount Saint Vincent University and coordinates social media for the university bookstore, planning content against institutional brand standards and adapting it to what the engagement data shows. She is also an award-winning visual artist, provincial winner of the 2024 Arts and Letters Award in Visual Arts. Five years on the Youth Advisory Committee at the Janeway Children's Health Centre gave her direct grounding in health communication and patient experience, representing people whose experience usually goes unrecorded in the rooms where decisions about them are made.

  • Social media planning and content coordination, Mount Saint Vincent University Bookstore
  • Winner, 2024 Provincial Arts and Letters Award, Visual Arts
  • Two-time finalist, Mount Pearl Artist of the Year
  • Five years, Youth Advisory Committee, Janeway Children's Health Centre
  • Bachelor of Public Relations in progress, Mount Saint Vincent University
  • Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Jasleen

Jasleen

The Clinical Architect

Team Lead, Clinical Informatics and Data Integration

Jasleen leads the GNOSIS engineering team, the kind of lead people want to build with: calm, exacting, and generous with what she knows. Jasleen is a data engineer whose speciality is integrity: the validation and reconciliation that let GNOSIS prove a record matches its source. Her background is data engineering for high-volume and regulated environments, with production experience in ETL, data quality and automated audit tooling. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science specialising in artificial intelligence and machine learning, and is completing a Master of Computer Science at Memorial University of Newfoundland. She is also the developer of Math-MATE, an accessible mathematics platform built to WCAG 2.2 for the Learning Disabilities Association of Newfoundland and Labrador.

  • Leads the GNOSIS engineering team
  • Data validation, reconciliation and automated audit tooling
  • ETL and data quality engineering: Sun Life Global Solutions, Emerson Information Technology Solutions, Enaimco
  • Accessible platform development to WCAG 2.2
  • Master of Computer Science in progress, Memorial University of Newfoundland
Soma

Soma

The Evidence Architect

AI Verification Engineer

Soma is a systems engineer with deep expertise in verification: making the behaviour of a live system observable rather than assumed. He brings six years of production engineering across distributed backend services, cloud infrastructure and event-driven systems, and works fluently with large language models, prompt engineering and grounded retrieval. He is completing graduate study at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

  • Six years production engineering: Java, Spring Boot, React and Angular
  • AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and Kafka, with production monitoring and observability
  • Large language models, prompt engineering and grounded retrieval
  • Graduate study in progress, Memorial University of Newfoundland
Ahmed

Ahmed

The Ledger Architect

Cloud and Cryptographic Systems Engineer

Ahmed is a systems engineer working in applied cryptography: the guarantees that make a GNOSIS record tamper evident. He writes security-conscious systems software in modern C++, with depth in applied cryptography, protocol design and distributed systems built to hold their integrity over unreliable networks. He is completing graduate study in software engineering.

  • Applied cryptography: OpenSSL, TLS, RSA, AES and SHA-256
  • Modern C++, TCP/IP, concurrent and networked systems
  • Protocol design, message framing and integrity validation
  • AWS, Docker and Linux infrastructure
  • Graduate study in software engineering
Sanamjan

Sanamjan

The Platform Architect

AI Platform and Integration Engineer

Sanamjan is a senior data scientist working at the platform layer where models meet production data. Their expertise is anomaly detection and risk scoring at enterprise scale, on the high-volume, noisy and heavily imbalanced data that real systems actually produce, built over senior data science roles in telecommunications and consumer platforms. They hold two master's degrees and are certified through techNL in securing large language models and AI agents against prompt injection and access control risk.

  • Anomaly detection and risk scoring at enterprise scale
  • Senior data science: Turkish Telecommunications, Huawei AppGallery
  • Python, PySpark, Spark, Kafka, Docker and AWS SageMaker
  • techNL certified in secure and trustworthy AI systems
  • MSc Computer Engineering, Erciyes University; MSc Information Science and Technology, National University of Malaysia
